Hi! I'm jessica!
I'm a crunchy mama who thrives on purple smoothies, spicy kale salads, and Matcha lattes (with the occasional apple cider mimosa thrown in). I'm proud to be a Navy wife, a Carolina girl, and a former Occupational Therapist.
I love creating light + joy filled images of families, babies, and bellies, and helping you bring your images into your home in a way that reminds you of your greatest blessings.
As a mother of two, I am blown away by how fast time goes + how quickly my children change. It is so bittersweet, and why documenting fleeting moments has become my passion, for my own family + for yours!

Sweethaven Lavender Farm is a magical place that feels like you've been transported to Europe. It's one of my most favorite places to photograph, and the images are so dreamy! Because the blooms only last for a short while, Lavender Petite Sessions are only offered once a year, and are extremely limited. Sessions are 30 minutes, are big on fun + great for kids (or dads) with shorter attention spans. These sessions are smaller versions of my full sessions, with all the perks + elevated experience of being a JJP client, with a smaller investment (time + price tag!). The beautiful setting and natural props like bouquets of lavender make these sessions so special!
I've found that my clients are most happy when I can walk them through each step, from choosing outfits to creating custom art for their walls. It's a much different experience with more joy + less stress- perfect for busy families!
After our time together, I'll deliver your gallery, you'll choose the collection that best fits your needs, and we will work together to design framed art work, canvases, or albums that make your home beautiful + bring joy whenever you see them! I'm happy to do the work for you, so you can focus on what's really important- time with your precious family!

How do I secure my date?
Go to this link! You can select your time + date, pay the $100 session fee + you're in! You'll also sign a contract + fill out a questionnaire to help me get to know you! Your session fee does go towards the purchase of your collection, and gets you entrance to the farm.

What should we wear?
Don't worry, I've got your covered! I'll send you a Style Guide full of suggestions for putting together outfits that coordinate + look great on camera. You can even shop my Client Closet that is full of beautiful dresses for moms + pieces for kiddos. It'll be hot, so flowy dresses are my go to!
Can we bring our dog?
In order to protect the farm animals and lavender, pets aren't allowed at Sweethaven!
How long does it take to see our photos?
I won't keep you waiting! I generally have a pretty quick turn around- often less than a week, with a little glimpse of some special images in a day or two! I am as excited to get your images to you as you are to see them!
What if my kids are crazy?
Oh mama, trust me...I know! Everly is honestly the hardest kid I've ever photographed, and she was pretty, shall we say "spirited" at our own family photos. I've got some tricks up my sleeve, and I let them jump + wiggle, and don't demand that they hold still. You'll be surprised at how many precious images we get, even if they're as crazy as my girl!
Do we have to order add ons?
Nope! But, I LOVE helping you create custom art that will remind you of your blessings on those hard days. I've also found that my kids enjoy seeing our family photos in our home, and it's makes them feel so special! I also have access to professional print labs, and the quality + color are just going to be so much better. Would you rather pass down a flash drive or an heirloom album?
